Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers stunning sea and city views from two beautiful terraces in the really big rooms. However, some rooms can feel claustrophobic. The service is exceptional with a helpful concierge and a variety of amenities, including two swimming pools, a spa, bars, and a restaurant. The location is convenient to explore nearby areas like Valleta, St Julian, and Mdina. The dining experience is generally excellent, although the use of powdered eggs in the scrambled eggs was a letdown.
Staying in the 8th-floor designer suite with amazing views was incredible. The rooms were fantastic, really big and spacious, offering 2 balconies. However, as a valued repeat customer, I felt somewhat ignored despite spending a significant amount of money on a junior suite.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the Med, excellent value for money, but I had to ask for teaspoons a few times. The staff were super attentive, polite, and helpful without being overbearing. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to shops, bars, restaurants, and a bus service. The dining experience provided a fantastic choice of fresh food, and the pool area was very good.
The hotel surprised me with spacious and comfortable rooms, although the bathroom was a bit small. The leaking iron was a downside, but having a quality espresso machine and daily restocked minibar made up for it. The service started rocky with unpleasant language from one staff member but improved later. The location was excellent for exploring, close to the ferry service and nightlife. The dining experience was delightful with a wide variety of high-quality food. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with some hiccups.
The hotel is in a lovely location with easy access to shops, bars, restaurants, and bus services. The rooms are well-furnished and spacious, though a bit cold with little natural light in the inner courtyard. The exceptional service, especially from the omelette station staff, made our stay very enjoyable.
The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms, although modern and spacious, lacked openable windows and faced an atrium view of corridors. Despite the initial phone issue, the early check-in availability was a bonus. The service was a mixed bag with exceptional staff like Simba but also encounters with dishonesty about room availability. The location offered convenience with a short walk to Sliema waterfront, but cleanliness was a minor letdown. The dining experience, especially the breakfast buffet, was delightful. The facilities were decent overall.
